An interesting chess match between two supernatural powers where one is a mind reader and another one is a future predictor.
If I am to say who is going to win this match? The best player obviously. Nothing can beat the one who is more tricky and know his game best.
Now considering their supernatural powers this match is more complicated than it seems. I will say mind reader will win this game as his power may be slightly an advantage for him. It may seem that the future predictor is going to win this match as he can see the future, he can see when and where the other person is placing his moves.
The future predictor may also have seen who is going to win this match. And he may play his move according to that. But the twist is that the opponent here is a mind reader who will immediately come to know that the other one is a future predictor and what he is thinking. But the future predictor only sees the future he can't know that his opponent is a mind reader. Which is a great disadvantage for him. So here mind reader is a step ahead of the future predictor. He will be in a secondary position of the future predictor as he can read his predictions. The moment the future predictor is predicting that the other one is playing this move, the mind reader an read his mind and change his move immediately. This may create quite a mess of information in the mind of the mind reader which will be a little disadvantage for him. But if he can sort this mess this match is a win for him.
But thinking of what if they both know about their powers? What if the future predictor tricks the mind reader and plays in a way to distract his moves? Whatever the situation, if the mind reader reads that idea he also can act accordingly in a second.
It doesn’t matter which power can overpower others. In this chess match if one thing really matters that is the best playing moves and becomes a trick master. Even if two opponents are the best but the winner will obviously be the person who can give his best in this particular match.
